Heat Pump Installation
Heat pumps are an efficient, cost-effective and low carbon solution for heating and cooling your home or business. At Alpine Heating, we partner with the leading brands (such as Daikin) to ensure heat pumps meet your specific needs. All projects start with a rigorous engineering assessment to ensure the right heat pump is installed.
Heat Pump Maintenance
There is no getting away from the fact that heat pumps can be complicated machines. As such maintenance is a great way to keep that machine as efficient as possible, ideally before winter! For some larger installations, regular maintenance is a legal requirement too. Alpine Heating hold the "Attestation de Capacite" to handle refrigerants so can manage all aspects of heat pump maintenance and repair.
Keeping Cool
Despite the extreme cold in winter, we do see summer heatwaves in Chamonix. All too often the architect will design a beautiful glass fronted chalet, or put bedrooms in hot roof spaces. Consideration for cooling and comfort during the hot summer months is key. We can assess if your underfloor heating and heat pump can provide summer cooling subject to minor modifications and suitable controls. Else we can offer separate air conditioning solutions (PAC Air-Air).
Ultra Efficient Underfloor Heating
Air source heat pumps in particular are dependent on the flowing water temperature of the heating system to determine their efficiency. At Alpine Heating we are pushing the boundaries as to what can be achieved in this space with exceptionally low flow temperature heating to ensure extraordinary Coefficients of Performance (COP) in sub-zero temperatures.
